First Aphasia Bootcamp Held at HARC!
HARC and the University of Houston held the first Intensive Bootcamp for Aphasia in July. Fifteen Participants with Aphasia participated in the program this year. It was held for 2 weeks, 4 hours daily. Intensive practice using the principles of Constraint Induced Language Therapy was completed under the direction of Dr. Lynn Maher, Stephanie Daniels, MS CCC-SLP, Stephanie Schmadeke, MA CCC-SLP and 16 Speech-Pathology graduate clinicians from University of Houston.

2011 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
HARC's second annual volunteer appreciation luncheon was held August 16, 2011. HARC extends a big "Thank You" to all of our volunteers.
