First Aphasia Boot Camp Held at HARC! HARC and the University of Houston held the first Intensive Boot Camp for Aphasia in July. Fifteen Participants with Aphasia participated in the program this year. It was held for 2 weeks, 4 hours daily. Intensive practice using the principles of Constraint Induced Language Therapy was completed under the direction of Dr. Lynn Maher, Stephanie Daniels, MS CCC-SLP, Stephanie Schmadeke, MA CCC-SLP and 16 Speech-Pathology graduate clinicians from the University of Houston.
